Hayling Island's in for another great day at The Plaza, with the return of the 'Ready To Rock School' students to the island for another great afternoon of live rock music at Eastoke Corner. This summer's charity concert is supporting Smile4Wessex.
Over 10 adult, teen and junior student bands from the Havant, Waterlooville, Petersfield and Portsmouth 'Ready To Rock School' schools are performing with their avid families and friends watching on.
Ready To Rock School's owner, Mark Thompson-Smith is looking forward to the highlight of the summer for the rock school community.
"We always have a brilliant time playing at The Plaza. We bring a big crowd with us but it's always great to see the Islanders and holidaymakers that come along to swell the numbers supporting us and our charities too. We know that It will be another full afternoon of great performances with something for every generation watching to enjoy!"
The Ready To Rock School Summer Charity Gig is on the 16th of July 2023 at Eastoke Plaza, Eastoke Corner, Hayling Island, with the first band kicking off at 12 noon.
This free event is open to the public with all donations for Smile4Wessex gratefully accepted throughout the afternoon.
