Each year Powertecnique employees nominate a local charity to raise money for and this is taken to a vote at their annual briefing. We are overwhelmed to have been selected as their chosen charity for 2020, following one of their colleagues requiring treatment at the Wessex Neurological Centre due to a serious motorbike accident in July last year.
They started their fundraising in December with a Christmas raffle and held 'Love Day' last month on Valentines Day, where staff wore red or pink in exchange for a donation, as well as a Valentines bake-off 💗
Throughout March, Sammy Murphy, Steph Farmer, Helen Kerr, Helen Hughes, Cara Smith, Devon Sullivan and Kyle Manuel, will each attempt to walk 10,000 steps a day in their latest event 'March 4 March'.
"For those of you that have active jobs this may not seem a lot however we all drive to and have desk jobs so we will definitely be upping our activity"
