When Kain Dear decided to undertake a challenge to raise funds for Smile4Wessex, he certainly couldn't have chosen anything much more extreme than the Isle of Wight Challenge. Taking place on Saturday 2nd May, Kain will be joining hundreds tackling a 65-mile circumnavigation of the island's coastal path - on foot!

Now we think the Jurassic Challenge Walks, particularly the 32-miler, are tough, but this is double that distance, and Kain is hoping to complete the course in just 20 hours!

We never cease to be amazed by the physical challenges people put themselves through to raise money for the Wessex Neurological Centre, but this is certainly right up there as one of the most demanding.
