On Sunday 12th April Simon Purr is taking on the Lincolnshire Boston Marathon in aid of Smile4Wessex.
In 2007, Simon's life was changed in an instant when he suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage caused by an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), which required urgent specialist treatment at the Wessex Neurological Centre in Southampton, under the expert care of Mr Owen Sparrow.
This April marks 19 years since that life-altering event and so to celebrate this milestone, and say a massive "thank you" to the team that saved him, Simon has decided to push his limits and take on this marathon challenge.
