Having undergone epilepsy surgery at the Wessex, Helen Webster has long been a supporter of Smile4Wessex, running regular coffee mornings and charity sales to raise funds for the charity. She has also been able to share her experience with others facing the decision of whether to undergo such surgery, including Kiri Sheppard whose treatment has been ongoing at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Recently Helen & Kiri have teamed up to fundraise jointly for the two units, holding a coffee morning in the St Thomas Rooms, Salisbury. Having faced such similar battles with their epilepsy, it is fantastic to see Helen & Kiri's enthusiasm for the hospitals that have treated them.

The event was a great success, and the fundraising page they created raised a further £585.00 for the two charities. Many thanks to both Helen and Kiri for their support :-)
