Pioneering Surgery Leaves Sword Family Smiling

When Micala Sword last met Mr Paul Grundy, he'd just performed an Awake Craniotomy to remove a brain tumour. That was in December 2014, and Micala's was one of the first operations using the Fluorescence Imaging capability of the Leica M720/OH5 operating microscope purchased by Smile4Wessex (see http://www.smile4wessex.org/index.php?id=25 for details). As you can see, she's doing extremely well, as did husband Glen and daughter Alanis who raised over £1,000 for the charity running the Great South Run in October. Our grateful thanks to all.
