Emma Flexon will be flexing every muscle as she takes on the rugged terrain of Portland, Dorset, running the Portland Coastal Half Marathon on 15th February. The island's spectacular landscape holds special memories for some very close friends of Emma's, and in memory of whose son, Matt, she will be running.

Emma explains why she'll be raising funds for Smile4Wessex.

"I have chosen to run in aid of Smile4Wessex in memory of Matt as it's a charity very close to the hearts of two very special friends of mine. Matt spent five days at the neurological centre, where his Mum & Dad took support from the vital work that staff carry out, and the facilities and input from the charity, at what was a time of great distress for them."
