Starting in Kings Park, you will make your way down to the seafront, and stunning cliff tops of Bournemouth. Hengistbury Head forms the main division between Poole and Christchurch bays standing midway between Poole Harbour and Hurst Spit, and here you will head west, continuing along the seafront. Runners will encounter the breathtaking Boscombe Pier and on reaching the Bournemouth Pier for the second time, you know you're on the home stretch. From here you will head towards Poole's natural harbour before tackling the last few miles along the seafront, finishing in Lower Gardens. 

 

For something a little less demanding, the half marathon follows a similar route to the full marathon, capturing Bournemouth's most iconic landmarks, and is one not to be missed!
